How long does it take NCsoft to respond to account support reqs these days?
Has anyone had to get account support from NCsoft recently?
My sister wants to play GW again but has forgotten her character's name. Just wondering how long it'll take for them to reply. |

welll dude I'm srry to say it but my request took over a month and I had to emial [email protected] to get information and help. Then again mine was getting my password reset. If it's just her character name then ask some of her in-game friends if they remember it.
Hope This Helps ~~Doom |

Support will take 1 day to 2 weeks to respond. When my account got suspended for false scamming, I sent them an email. 6 days later they replied. However once they respond to you, they will send you a new message about every 1-2 days. After they contacted me, they unlocked my account for false scamming.

When i emailed NCSoft over an Aion issue it took them 3 days to respond.
On a side note: I take it you have a GW account, maybe you have her characters name on your friend list? Just a thought. |

I recently had to e-mail them to reset my GW password as I had lost access to the game (lost password, not hacking). Submitted ticket with all relevant details in the morning brefore heading to work, got home and they had responded with a reset password already.
Seems varied as to the times of response - seems from experiences posted here, the more information you provide up front.. the faster the response time. I'd also likely say being polite is going to help as well :P So if you have already submitted a ticked.. but have other information you can provide.. I'd suggest updating the ticked with the new information. If you haven't already, here's the link to their FAQ about what information they ask that you provide (if you can't provide all, they'll let you know how to sort it out.. if it's possible): http://help.ncsoft.com/cgi-bin/ncsof...&p_topview= 1

If ANet only got 1 e-mail a day, they could probably answer real quick. But these days I'll bet they get many e-mails each day just asking for character names - then there's the usual bunch of "why was I banned", "why can't I connect", etc. etc.
The one time I had to ask support something, it was answered in what I considered a timely manner. |
